Unitree flags 465x trailing P/E in its second stock-surge notice in a week
Unitree Robotics said in a Shanghai Stock Exchange announcement dated Oct 27 that its STAR Market shares rose more than 30% above the index over Oct 22, 23 and 26, its second abnormal-trading notice in a week.
Its trailing P/E reached 465.22 times on Oct 26 against 38.54 times for general equipment makers; the company said it has no undisclosed material matters and warned of valuation reversion risk.
Unitree Robotics said in an announcement filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange and dated Oct 27 that the cumulative closing-price deviation of its shares (688836) exceeded 30% over the three trading days of Oct 22, 23 and 26, which counts as abnormal trading under STAR Market rules. The company, its controlling shareholder and actual controller confirmed there are no undisclosed material matters such as mergers, share issues or asset injections, and that directors and senior managers did not trade the stock in the period.
The filing puts the trailing price-earnings ratio at 465.22 times as of Oct 26, against an average of 38.54 times for China's general equipment manufacturing sector. It was the second such notice in a week: the Oct 21 announcement covered Oct 16, 19 and 20 and gave 388.25 times, so the multiple rose 19.8% in four trading days by MEKAWIRE's calculation. The new notice adds a warning that physical-AI technology still faces challenges in perception, motion control, data and hardware-software integration on its way from lab demos to large-scale deployment.
In MEKAWIRE's Unitree explainer, the company listed on Aug 19 at about RMB 61.0 billion at the issue price, on 2025 revenue of RMB 1.70 billion, and its recurring net profit fell 19.34% in the first half of 2026.
