Korean drone-diagnostics start-up Weflo has released FloONE AI Suite, software that analyses signals from its inspection rigs with AI to catch abnormal patterns that single readings or fixed thresholds miss, and shows pass or fail calls, suspect parts and maintenance history on one dashboard, Robot Newspaper (irobotnews) reported on Oct 22; Weflo has not posted the release on its own site, so the figures are unconfirmed.

The factory version works with Weflo's DRQC end-of-line rigs, logging motor, ESC and propeller tests, machine-vision and thermal checks and IMU and compass calibration per airframe serial number and linking to MES data; the field version pairs with its verti-Pit automatic pre-flight pads for digital checklists, flight scheduling and per-aircraft maintenance records.

The suite is sold as a package with the inspection hardware to drone makers, fleet operators and defence users, and the report says the company built it on data from more than 292 sites, over 3,000 drone flights and about 1.04 million inspection records, including 45 delivery hubs, 177 delivery points and 34 pre-flight pads set up under transport ministry drone programmes.

MEKAWIRE context: it is the second Korean drone-automation start-up on MEKAWIRE this month after Sierrabase won a Scale-up TIPS grant on Oct 2 to automate bridge and tunnel inspection by drone.

Good or bad news for the company?
