Machina Labs
Los Angeles manufacturer using industrial robots and AI to form and assemble metal parts for defence and aerospace straight from digital designs.
Machina Labs, Inc. was founded in 2019 and is based in Los Angeles, where it runs factories built around its RoboCraftsman platform, which pairs industrial robots, machine learning and its own RoboForming process to shape, weld and assemble aerospace- and defence-grade metal structures from digital files. It names US defence agencies, defence primes and mobility companies among its customers. In October 2023 it announced a $32 million Series B led by NVentures, NVIDIA's venture arm, and Innovation Endeavors, saying total funding had reached $45 million; a Form D filed on 4 October 2023 reports $31,215,090 sold of a $31,759,033 equity offering. In February 2026 the company said it had closed a $124 million Series C with Woven Capital, Lockheed Martin Ventures, Balerion Space Ventures and the Strategic Development Fund, and would build its first large-scale intelligent factory. A separate Form D dated 25 February 2026 reports $38,944,395.93 sold of a $52,611,500 equity offering to 23 investors, with first sale on 27 June 2025; the filing does not name the round.
